Chapter 818: Vanar and Vaelira Ignis P1
Chapter 818: Vanar and Vaelira Ignis P1
The red-haired man’s expression became darker.
"No. It can’t be an Earth Immortal. I haven’t heard any recent news about a Greater Overlord appearing in their own domain in public in the Eternal Sea. They don’t bother with hiding their presence anyway."
The man slowly floated upward from the fire pool completely. Liquified flames dripped from his body before evaporating instantly. His eyes flickered with deep thought.
"The Earth Immortals have nothing to do here. Almost all of those old monsters are outside the Dadangar World right now according to the alliance’s intelligence."
He slowly crossed his arms.
"And the few who remained behind but are not in their domain would never bother going to "that" place. The Eternal Sea itself is largely unexplored even with so many of the Overlords continuously launching one expedition after the other."
His tone became calmer. But the coldness within it only grew heavier.
"Void Water is precious. Extremely precious. But for Earth Immortals, there are easier ways to obtain it. They have better opportunities. There is no reason for them to personally travel there just to steal a small Void Water Pond.
"Plus, why would they steal it so silently? If anyone among them had demanded that thing from me knowing I knew where it was, I would have been more than happy to deliver that thing with my own hands just to curry favors with them."
The more he analyzed it, the less likely it seemed. Eventually, he completely eliminated the possibility from his mind.
"No," he muttered again. "The possibility of a Greater Overlord taking action there is almost zero."
His eyes slowly narrowed further. Then another thought surfaced inside his mind.
"Could it be another True Overlord?"
True Overlord.
That was the title used for Deity Transformation Gods like himself acting as the Overlords of their respective city-states. The true rulers of the Eternal Sea.
The man immediately began thinking of possible suspects.
"Was it that big-breasted White Witch?"
He frowned slightly.
Then shook his head again.
"No. That woman is currently occupied with the war near the Southern Sea routes."
"And besides... she dislikes spatial resources."
Another name surfaced.
"Or that Dwarf Shaakal?"
Again—
He rejected the possibility.
"That greedy bastard has been in closed-door cultivation for nearly eight centuries. And his cultivation path clashes heavily with spatial laws."
The man’s expression became uglier and uglier. One name after another appeared inside his thoughts. Various Gods. Various Overlords. Various powerful figures of the Eternal Sea.
And yet—
He eliminated all of them one by one from the suspect list.
Although Deity Transformation Gods could indeed use special methods to handle Void Water, those methods were extremely rare. Extremely expensive. And extremely troublesome.
Most importantly—
They all came with dangerous side effects. Thus, very few True Overlords would casually touch Void Water without absolute necessity.
The red-haired man slowly closed his eyes.
A strange spiritual fluctuation spread from his Mind Palace.
The next moment—
Countless streams of information rapidly flashed through his mind.
Alliance reports.
Movement records.
Trade updates.
Cultivation news.
Political conflicts.
The intelligence network of the Eternal Sea was vast.
As a Deity Transformation God and an Overlord, he naturally possessed access to enormous amounts of information.
However, even after quickly reviewing all recent important movements, he still found nothing suspicious. The man’s expression finally turned sour.
Very sour.
"Just my luck. I thought nobody would go searching for the Void Water in that heaven-forsaken place," he muttered slowly.
"I thought it would remain secure as long as I pretended it didn’t exist."
That hidden Void Water Pond had been one of his long-term secrets. A hidden treasure he had quietly left untouched for many centuries. He had deliberately avoided drawing attention toward it.
Even the hidden gu insect farm around it that he had let an old Nascent Soul King build was merely a disguise. And it had worked perfectly for a very long time.
Yet now—
Someone had stolen everything. The man slowly gritted his teeth.
"But who would have thought I could still get robbed?"
The veins on his forehead slowly bulged. His expression became increasingly ugly.
"And the bigger question is..."
A terrifying pressure slowly spread outward from his body. The entire elemental chamber trembled lightly. The fire pool became unstable again.
"Who the fuc*k took my Void Water?"
The man’s voice exploded with suppressed rage.
Boom!
A massive wave of liquified fire suddenly erupted upward like a volcanic explosion. The surrounding chamber shook violently.
Yet even amidst his anger, the confusion inside his heart only deepened further. Because the more he thought about it, the more impossible the whole situation felt.
The red-haired man was just about to step out of the giant elemental pool.
The liquid flames around him churned violently as his anger spread through the entire cave abode. Waves of terrifying heat rolled outward. The rocky walls glowed red. Even the air looked distorted.
The sea beneath the floating island outside had already started boiling from the leaking heat alone.
The man’s expression remained dark. He needed to vent his frustration. If he stayed here any longer, he felt like he would explode.
Just as he was about to rise fully from the enormous pool—
A figure suddenly descended from above.
A young woman landed gracefully near the edge of the elemental pool.
Her arrival was silent.
Yet the moment she appeared, the violent fire essence in the surroundings strangely calmed down a little.
The woman had long crimson-red hair that flowed down to her waist like burning silk. Her eyes were bright golden with faint red rings inside the pupils, making them look sharp and mysterious at the same time.
Her beauty was breathtaking.
Her facial features were delicate yet mature. Her skin was smooth and fair, carrying a faint warm glow because of the fire essence surrounding her body.
She wore a bold crimson battle dress that revealed her shoulders and part of her waist. Golden flame patterns were stitched along the edges of the outfit.
The dress tightly wrapped around her curvy figure before splitting near her thighs, revealing her long legs.
